The mission of the Medical Reserve Corps of Muskegon County is to be the catalyst for trained medical and supportive service volunteers to serve Muskegon County when disasters or emergencies strike. |
The MRC consists of medical, health-related and other professionals designed to supplement local emergency plans and resources already in place in Muskegon County.
All members of the community are encouraged to volunteer their skills and training. Volunteers may include, but are not limited to:

Practicing, Retired, or otherwise Employed Health Professionals including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, nursing assistants, veterinarians, respiratory therapists and others

Public and Mental Health Professionals including epidemiologists and health educators

Others with Essential Emergency Response Skills including social workers, interpreters, chaplains and support staff
-
Administrative and Support Staff including, community members without medical training in order to assist with administrative, transportation, and other essential support functions
